DINA: Initial Meeting Packet 071908

DINA: Talking Points for Initial Meeting with Superintendent and Board President 071908

The "initial meeting packet" is shared with the participants of the first two meetings held in the district.  Upon identification, representatives from the Iowa Department of Education (e.g., Paul Cahill, Lou Howell) meet with the superintendent of schools and the president of the board of education to share options available to the district who is at the "corrective action" stage.  (Note that talking points for that meeting are provided above.)  Once the decision is made to participate in the district audit, the "audit team" meets with the district leadership team.  They review the expectations and results of the audit, using this same "initial meeting packet."
